Rosin for Cello

Our Rosin for Cello is a high-quality, dust-free bow rosin for cellists who value reliable response and a rich, full sound.

The carefully balanced formulation provides excellent grip between the bow hair and the strings and supports powerful, controlled tone production. The rosin offers a direct response and contributes to a full, warm and expressive sound throughout the entire bow stroke.

Specially suited for the cello, the rosin can be applied evenly and economically to the bow hair. Its dust-free formulation also ensures particularly clean application.

Application

Draw the bow hair across the surface of the rosin several times using light, even pressure. A newly rehaired bow will usually require several applications until the bow hair has picked up a sufficient amount of rosin.

For bows that are played regularly, a light application as needed is sufficient.

Care

After playing, we recommend wiping the strings and the surface of the instrument with a soft, dry cloth.
