Rosin for Double Bass

Our Rosin for Double Bass is a high-quality, dust-free bow rosin for double bass players who value reliable response and a powerful, full sound.

The carefully balanced formulation provides good grip between the bow hair and the strings and supports direct, controlled tone production. The rosin provides the strong grip required for the double bass and contributes to a deep, warm and rich sound throughout the entire bow stroke.

Specially suited for the double bass, the rosin can be applied evenly and economically to the bow hair. Its dust-free formulation also ensures particularly clean application.

Application

Draw the bow hair across the surface of the rosin several times using light, even pressure. A newly rehaired bow will usually require several applications until the bow hair has picked up a sufficient amount of rosin.

For bows that are played regularly, a light application as needed is sufficient.

Care

After playing, we recommend wiping the strings and the surface of the instrument with a soft, dry cloth.
