Natural Resins and Essential Oils for Violin Making – Quality for Sound and Appearance
In violin making, natural resins and essential oils play an important role in the quality and durability of the instrument. With us, you will find selected natural resins and essential oils of the highest quality, which we have been sourcing for many years from trusted suppliers. These raw materials are sustainably and carefully harvested to guarantee you pure, natural products.
Our natural resins are ideal for varnishing, polishing, and caring for string instruments. They protect the wood and support the sound development as well as the radiant appearance of the instruments. The special composition ensures a flexible and durable surface that preserves the typical violin sound.
Our essential oils also offer a variety of uses for cleaning, care, and surface finishing. They naturally nourish the wood and give the instrument a pleasant, authentic scent.
Trust our many years of experience in violin making and benefit from the purity and quality of our products – for instruments that impress both visually and acoustically.

This 99% pure alcohol (denatured with 1% MEK) is ideally suited for dissolving natural resins themselves. This high-quality alcohol ensures the solution has no white gumming (streaks). We also recommend out 99% ethanol for spirit soluble powder colours. For varnishing we recommend approximately 300g-400g resin to 1 litre ethanol. ATTENTION - The 10 liter canister can only be shipped in Germany.
